This nursery is one of my favourite spaces I have designed. It’s also a very special space to us personally, as it’s for our newest little member of the family. The nursery space has a loft like feel to it with its angled walls and ceiling. And the tree scape wallpaper highlights those angles and plays up the loft vibes of this space.
The Pieces
This is our second daughter, and we kept a lot of items from our first daughter’s nursery which I wanted to reuse. The crib and glider are from Aria’s old nursery, and the ladder bookcase was from the playroom. I’m grateful we had these key pieces kicking around because with the supply chain issues, some gliding chairs are backordered 6-8 months! PSA if you are expecting, order your glider asap!
I wanted to get a white washed or light wood dresser, but the ETAs were incredibly long. And I wanted to make sure I had everything organized before baby girl arrives. I chose a white dresser that would arrive before my due date and I think it’s the perfect fit for the space. To personalize it, I updated the drawer knobs with these cute floral ones for an extra touch of vintage.
The Finishing Touches
The tree scape design of the wallpaper is soft and serene – perfect for a nursery. I paired the sage green wallpaper with light touches of dusty blush and the colour combo is stunning!
The soft cream and grey rug grounds the space. And the light wood side table and wood frames are where I added in that extra touch of nature to play up the tree wallpaper. Add in touches of brass and this space is perfection.
