I am so excited to share more about this little girls bunk bed room! It’s one of the best feelings to see designs come to life, and this one is amazing. This mini-client’s parents absolutely nailed implementing this edesign – bunk beds included.
The room is filled with earthy colours, and texture. It’s calm, and inviting, while also having an element of fun with the bunk beds and palm decals on the walls.
Details of the space
The room was painted in Benjamin Moore’s White Dove to give us a fresh and clean palette to work with. Removable boho palm decals float their way up the wall opposite of the bunk beds, and fill in the corner by her dresser.
I added in drawers under the bunk beds to create more storage. With the stairs built flat into the bunk bed this saved on floor space, so we could fit a small dresser.
Heirloom Swing
The rattan swing was her mother’s swing when she was a child. And it’s so special she restored it for her daughter to enjoy. I love when clients incorporate heirloom items like this into their spaces. They create such beautiful stories.
The little reading nook is complete with book ledges, a modern brass lamp, and the prettiest rug to add in softness and texture.
This room and these clients were so much fun to work with. Up next is the primary bedroom for these clients, because they deserve their own little retreat, too!
