Today, I am sharing the details on the #whimsicaltoddlerroom! The goal for this project was to create a toddler bedroom, with lots of colour and whimsy. My mini client loves unicorns, and her mama found the cutest bedding that we used as our base for the colour palette. It had rich greens, purples, and subtle pinks that when combined they created a stunning colour story.
Can we talk about this beautiful green bed?! It’s the focus of the room, and I just love it so much. It’s a classic Jenny Lind style, with timeless details on the spindles. The rich colour brings a modern touch to a timeless look. Unfortunately, I don’t think they sell it in this colour anymore, but here are the other colors.
A few other details I added in was a rattan mirror and dressing corner for her. Every toddler loves a mirror installed at their height, and her mom found the cutest hooks in her initials for an even more personal look. The window nook is a fun reading spot, and a place she can hang out as she grows older. Plus, the furry bench just adds such flair to the space.
This project was so much fun to work on. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, kids rooms are the most fun to work on. You can play with patterns, colour and whimsy, and it’s just the best! And if you missed it here is her little sister’s nursery.
If you have a space you are looking to refresh or completely overhaul, let’s chat! I’d love to help you create a space you’ll love.
