I am so excited to share with you the #ModernBohoinHarmony project. This space is absolutely stunning. As I mentioned in my IG stories, we are still missing the cane accent chairs… but as you can see, this space is already a showstopper.
The #modernbohoinHarmony clients are a stylish, design-savvy family with two young children. Their house features arched doorways, wide plank flooring and a beautiful all-white fireplace. They built this house last year, and needed help with styling the living space and laundry room (more to come soon on that). They love warm neutrals, and wanted the space to feel organic and calm. All things I love!
Warm + Organic Design
As you walk into the home through their front door, you are immediately drawn to the black cabinet. It’s a statement piece that also doubles as storage for both the living and dining spaces.
When you turn to the living room, the all-white fireplace is the next focus. I love working with a clean white palette and adding lots of beautiful prints and texture to make it feel more unique.
I chose oversized black and white framed art on one side, and added texture on the other side with the palm leaf fans. The art reflects the clients’ love for the outdoors, and the palm leaf wall hangings bring in a bit of a bohemian vibe.
These palm leaf wall hangings are AMAZING. They are neutral, but also unexpected and will be a natural conversation starter. The woven vase with the tall pampas grass balances out the texture of the seagrass hangings
Get the Look:
With two young kids, we needed to find furniture that is durable, but also safe for little ones. Enter the prettiest coffee table ottoman you can find! The dark colour adds contrast to the space, and the round shape is perfect for a little one just learning to walk. The side table provides a space to for decor, and drinks, and features a herringbone top for an extra touch of style. This space is organic, inviting and warm. And a space they will enjoy for years.
